Ipoh Kek Look Tong Cave Temple
Yesterday I went to Ipoh Kek Look Tong cave temple. Will be going back to KL later around evening. Actually I want to shoot some sunset shot unfortunately, the weather is not really good... raining.
Kek Look Tong History
The cave temple sits on a 12 acre site and was used as early as 1920 as a place of worship. In 1960, the cave became part of an iron mining site operated by the late Mr. Chooi Ah Kee. The mining operation used excavators to enlarge the cave entrance to allow lorry access through the cave to transport loads laden with iron ore. Mr. Chooi started clean up of a small prayer section of the cave, originally named 'Tien Hou Gong'.
In 1982, 'Tien Hou Gong' was handed over by the son of Mr. Chooi to a non-profit charitable organization, Kek Look Seah and the cave temple was renamed 'Kek Look Tong'. The committee of Kek Look Seah took on development of the cave by enlarging the cave, as well as reclaiming the swampy area near the rear entrance using soil and earth from a nearby hillock. The floor of the cave has been filled and then paved into a flat surface while parts of the rough cave wall are lined with marble tiling. The impressive stalactites and stalagmite formations however were left alone.

Singapore View from Johor Baharu
I just back from Singapore and now stuck at The Coffee Bean City Square Johor Baharu. I just back from Kuching last Monday and tomorrow I will go back to Kuala Lumpur. Friday I will be going to Ipoh for the wedding shoot. Rushing but I like it!
Why Coffee Bean instead Starbuck? Because I fall in love with The Coffee Bean XP
I manage to get some shot of Singapore view from Johor Baharu unfortunately, the weather damn killing me! Dog and cat rain from yesterday.
If you wondering how near it is... Ya... It is damn near...
I just use 17-50mm lens and I not even crop or zoom it until max.

Kuching Waterfront
This shot I took around 7.30am from my hotel room. While waiting for Azrin to bath, I play with his lens 17-40 L Lens and ND Filter. Cool right? I can see the blue sky.
Kuching Waterfront, a major rest oration and land reclamation project, has become the most popular meeting place in the city. Drab warehouses have been replaced with 900m long esplanade of beautiful landscaped and dotted with wooden benches, food stalls, restaurants and entertainment facilities.
